This will be the third charger that I have bought & a month or two later it is no longer working. The cords are in great shape & I don't understand why this keeps happening!! I don't live close by an apple store, and I don't wanna waste anymore money on a charger!
Hello, my iphone 5 charger recently started doing the thing it does where if you have it at one angle, it will charge, but if you move it, it stops charging. I've read a lot about this and know that it's a thing that happens to basically all Apple users. It has completely stopped working all together and I need a new charger quick! I live NO where near an Apple store, so I can't bring it in and trade out or buy a new one.. So can I bring my old one to my carrier and trade in? Or just buy a whole new one? I don't have a phone to call the store, 1)Business hours are over right now 2)My phone is dead! I'm going to stop by tomorrow but I'd like to know before-hand so I don't walk in like a crazy person trying to buy a charger when I can't even buy one! If you have ever done this, please tell me what to do! And if not, where can I get a not-cheap one. (They're basically all cheap with this rate of damage) but you know what i mean!!
I had my first iPhone charger, the wire internally twisted and stopepd working, I contacted Apple and they sent me a new one out, the same problem has happened with this one now! Can I still send it back and get another replacement? I have amazon chargers which charge the phone fine but will not sync with my laptop and so I need an Apple one for my computer, but don't think I should be made to pay £30 for a charger when it's Apple's fault they can't make a decent product! My phone is still under it's one year warranty so can I still send it back? I'ts the lightning cable by the way? Any ideas?

My iPhone 5 has an UK version of the battery recharger that is why I can recharge it only via the USB now...:/

I understand that everything in the iphone 5 box has a one year warranty, so what do I do to get a new charger?
I only have an iStore franchise in my town, not an apple store?
The charger for my iphone 5 stopped working after 2.5 months. Is this covered by a warranty or will I have to pay for a new one? How long should the charger last? This seems ridiculous,but it is my first iphone so I am not sure what to expect. Thanks! Deb
A few weeks ago my iphone 5 charger became sporadic, charging or not, seemingly at random. Upon closer inspection I could easily see that, where the cord connects to the charger, it is flimsy and "rumpled" looking. As if the basic, intended, use of pushing the charger into the port is more than the design + materials can handle.
I do not believe I should have to pay for a replacement, nor should I have to waste time, energy/gas driving to the Apple store. I would be more than happy to take and post/send photos and/or mail the charger back, but I don't really think i should have to take time out of my already busy days because of a flawed design which Apple released to the market before ensuring its durabily, to withstand being plugged in once a day for a few months. Frankly, a charger should last at least as long the phone itself, as it is a fairly simple device.
I am frustrated because I purchased this phone (my first iphone) with the understanding that this is a product of high quality. Not one in which its parts will degrade at a rapid pace, reducing the functionality of the device. Something tells me I'm not the only person experiencing this problem, and this is most likely already being/been discussed.
I see this sort of issue as an opportunity for Apple to make a good decision as a business and correct a situation aptly in order to re-establish a solid repuation, post-Jobs.

I think the inside of my iPhone charger Is wearing away, not the cable but the input itself. The phone itself if taking longer to charge also.
I bought a new cable but that didn't change anything so now I know it's the inside.
Would the Genius Bar be able to help me out?
Well, just so recently my iPhone 5 charger had stopped working , it doesn't recharge at all..
I thought it was dust in my phone, but it's not..
So I wanted to know the whole process to exchange my charger,
my warranty did not expire yet , but I'm pretty new when it comes to my phone..
Do I just go to any Apple store and ask for an exchange in my charger?
What do I need to bring (if anything)??
What do I ask for?
How does the process go?
( Sorry if this question seems stupid, I'm just looking for a very descriptive answer to specific questions)

This is the second charger i have and right where you plug into the phone, is breaking or coming loose. I never had this issue with my iphone 4 charger. I feel like these new chargers are junk.. and i dont have the money to keep dishing out to get a new one.
Anyone else have this issue too?

As the title of my discussion suggests, yes my iPhone5 charger has stopped functioning properly in fact it's stopped working altogether! I tried different ways to solve the problem ie different sockets to charge the iPhone 5, changing the adapter, plugging the cable into my laptop. To all of which were no success. I would like some tips on how to handle this query!
