My iPhone 5 does not get GPS signal

Good day,

I noticed with my iPhone 5 that the map directions never seem to work.  Then I noticed my Nike+ app GPS signal always shows as weak and it doesn't work.  I never had the problem with my iPhone 4S so I thought maybe the new iOS.  I took my old 4S in it's case (now my wifes phone) and started the Nike+ on it and on my iPhone 5 (no case) sitting next to each other.  The 4S got a strong GPS signal. The 5 got nothing...

 

Has anyone out there experienced the same thing?  I'm trying to determine if this a global 5 thing or just my phone.

Signal strength worse since iOS 6.1.2.

Ever since I upgraded to iOS 6.1.2, my LTE signal strength on my iPhone 5 has depleted. Where I used to get 4 bars I now get 1-2. Sometimes places I used to have LTE are 3G for some reason. It only started when I got iOS 6.1.2. Is this a software bug that will hopefully get fixed soon?

 

I have Verizon in case that matters.

Iphone 5 (For Sprint) signal and message problems.

Why does my iphone 5 (Sprint) constantly not sennd texts and signal goes in and out alot?  Love the phone and dont wanna have to get rid of it so is there a way to resolve this problem? Also the LTE is on but still only shows 3g at the top of the screen.

iphone 5 signal loss

I've had my iphone 5 for a while now and I'm always experiencing this problem with my iphone. I'm not sure if this is just my carrier or if its the phone itself but every 4 or so minutes the signal bars on my phone drops and then shows the "No Service" sign. And then sevral seconds later my signal goes back to normal. Again I'm not sure if this is just my carrier or if its the phone itself. I don't really have the time and effort to go to the apple store and ask. I've had replace my phone before but not for this kind of case. I don't think they're gonna give me another free replacement.

Iphone 5: Signal drops, apps crashing, call drops and poor battery life.

Previously owned iPhone 3gs, iPhone 4 and iPad. Now with this iPhone 5 it seems nothing is going for it. I get apps crashing at seemingly random times, poor battery life, my signal drops into "no service" or "searching" which is only fixed by turning airplane mode on and off again. This obviously causes the call drops too which is annoying after paying such a high price for a phone. Are these problems common and being looked at or is it just a few people experiencing them?
