Question about iphone 5 and buying it at a non apple store?

My contract has ended with at&t I have the iphone 4S. Well I saw target advertising there trade in and entered my phone info and it said I could get 202.00. If I were to get it thru their could I then go to apple store within 30 days and get the apple care+ protection? Or do both of them have to be purchased from Apple?

why hasn't apple develped the ' find my iPhone ' app for mac systems? i find it hard to consume that after buying a macbook air, that if i lose my iphone 5, i wont be able to track the location of it, i really shouldn't have to buy an iPad surely? not that i don't take car of my iPhone or think i will lose it, but it would be nice to know if the unfortunate happened, i could find it.

"We could not complete your iTunes Store request..." iPhone 5 restore problem

To anyone out there,

I've been having an issue with an iPhone 5 that I've recently purchased. It is used, sort a of semi-used condition. On an attempt to restore it, I come to the point where it connects to iTunes but I keep receiving this message.

I've even tried to set it up through a wireless network but I keep receiving the same message.

All tabs working in App Store except Update tab. Icon shows 4 updates available, but open App Store and update screen is blank

 

Have tried re-setting both App Store app and phone.  Tried resetting wifi.   Nothing fixes it.
