My iphone says the storage is full when it's not.

I have an iphone 5 with 16G. The only thing that takes up space on my iphone is 5.7GB in photos and camera. I don't have any apps, music, movies, or anything. just my photos. Why does it say my storage is over the capacity??? On itunes it says 5.7GB of photos which takes up less than half of my storage, then it says 7.58GB of "other" I have nothing else on my phone. what is all the "other" storage it says i'm taking up??

Iphone 5- lots of 'other' in storage

I have an I Phone 5 with fully updated software. The 'other' portion in my storage capabitlities is at 5.60GB. I do not have many apps and no music. Does anyone know how I can delete this part of the storage or at least explain what it is?

Do photo albums take up more storage?

I'd like to organize my photos more on my new iphone (seeing as how my last one was a mess).  But I know that when you have a photo album, the picture is stored in both the camera roll and the album...does this mean it is taking up twice as much space?  Or is it still one file?

My new iphone 5 losing storage, can someone please help me?

i keep getting less and less space on my new iphone 5, i plugged it in and itunes told me the "other" section was using 11.2 GB of a 13 GB phone. I dont know what to do or what is going on, can someone please tell me what's happening. Tried restoring my phone but the capacity was still over!

iCloud storage issues?

My iPhone 5 is backed up to iCloud, and is the only device using the iCloud accound. Recently, my iCloud account ran out of the 5 GB provided from Apple. There is definitely something wrong with the way it is totaling my data. The camera roll is easily the highest use of space on the phone, but only takes up 500 MB on the phone. I don't even have an excess of apps that are clogging the storage. Are there any ways to reset the count without losing anything? Because this is definitely wrong. Any solutions at all?
