My unclo bought an iPhone 5s gold recently
after one month of using, suddnely the carrier service dissapeard.
When the Sim Card inserted, it just says looking for service without finding.
The problem is, we don't any apple stores in Erbil/Iraq so we are clueless now
Any sort of help would be appreciated

I have reset m iPhone 5, restarted and the receiver still does not work. I cannot hear people I call or call me. The headphones work and speaker works however no receiver, I've tried unplugging the headset and reinserting to no avail.
I'm trying to restore and see if the helps.

I just had this problem while using my MacBook w/ Snow Leopard 10.6.3. Then I checked "Software Update" (on the Apple Menu), it found a free upgrade to 10.6.8, and the problem's gone. Check Software Update to see what kind of system upgrade you can install for free, and that may well fix it. (Upgrading to Snow Leopard only costs $20.) I think it's a new iTunes issue with older systems, but if you do whatever free upgrade Apple has for you, it might well work.

Just today this started:
Initiated a call or received a call, removed from face, see screen, tap "end call" button 1 time, nothing happens. Button doesn't even register a tap.
Tap button again, button registers tap, goes to black screen. After a beat or so, screen comes back. Call did NOT end. End call button does not end the call, ever.
Sometimes, tapping the 'end call' button will make the screen go black and it won't come back. Call is still going. Have to tap the home button to get the screen to come back.
Reproduced in low light (thought it was the sensor) and full sunlight. (same behavior)
Tapping the speaker icon, setting the phone to speaker phone THEN hitting 'end call' makes it work as usual. So it's not that the touch screen doesn't work.
I've reset the phone many times.
I've turned off alarms and push.
Suggestions?
