i can't backup my phone via icloud due to lack of space and neither by pc due to an arror occuring. what can i do to back up my phone thanks

Hi

 

just been to apple store as i am having trouble

1) updating new software

2) icloud wont back up phone due to lack of storage

3) I can't but extra icloud space due to the fact the phone is a replacement and itunes cant verify the bank details

4) when i try to backup to pc it says itunes could not back up i phone - becasue the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iphone

 

Not sure what else to try

not receiving icloud calendar invites or calendar sharing

I am so sorry to bring this up but I have gone through discussion after discussion and nothing seems to be working for me! This is the first time I have ever posted so any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

My apple ID is a hotmail.com account and it is no longer receiving calendar invites or invites to share a calendar. They worked perfectly up until around the end of January 2013 as far as I can see so this appears to be a problem that has appeared in the last couple of weeks

 

I have tested it with some friends and it appears that some of my invitations are working when I send them out but it appears to be hit & miss (Last night I invited someone to share my calendar and they received the invite- when they invited me I did not receive anything)

 

I have changed my password on appleid so it meets the new security guidelines,

I have checked my appleid to ensure that there are no other unverified e-mail addresses linked to my account,

Both my iphone and ipad have had the latest updates (iOS 6.1.2)

I have changed my appleid to a different hotmail address and then changed it back to the original one and the invites did not work.

I have logged into icloud.com on my PC but no new invites have appeared on there.

Syncing of my calendar, reminders, safari and contacts etc is still working fine between my iphone and my ipad.

 

Please let me know if any more detail is needed. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Moving iCloud Back up from one phone to another.

Hi,

I have just bought an iPhone 5 and registered it. My old ,now redundant 3Gs shows both old and new phones on  the storage and back-up pages of iCloud.

What do I have to do to move the storage from the old phone to the new? Both will have the same id and passwords.

iPhone 5, iCloud calendar reminder issue

When I use the iCloud calendar on my iPhone 5 and make an event with a reminder set to "on time of event", it will sometimes just beep and flash a notice on lock screen for a few seconds and then the notice disappear from lockscreen.

 

Sometimes though, everything works as it should and the notice is still there on lockscreen till I unlock the screen (or the event is over).

 

All settings in notice center and mail/calendar is correct.

 

When I use google calendar it always works!

 

The problem was there from iOS 6.0 and is still there after update to 6.1

 

I have been in contact with apple support who couldn't find any help at the moment.

How to import contacts from iCloud?

I have to completely restart on my iPhone, and was told that I am able to import contacts from the iCloud. Unfortunately, I am not able to restore from a backup due to difficulties from that backup, but how can I just get in my contacts to the phone using the iCloud? Is there a way I can sync them?

iCloud storage issues?

My iPhone 5 is backed up to iCloud, and is the only device using the iCloud accound. Recently, my iCloud account ran out of the 5 GB provided from Apple. There is definitely something wrong with the way it is totaling my data. The camera roll is easily the highest use of space on the phone, but only takes up 500 MB on the phone. I don't even have an excess of apps that are clogging the storage. Are there any ways to reset the count without losing anything? Because this is definitely wrong. Any solutions at all?
